The New York Videogame Critics Circle

The New York Videogame Critics Circle is a nonprofit that provides games writing education to students in underserved communities with a focus on career pathways. Their Playing With Purpose program teaches journalism and narrative writing for games and provides students with paid internship, college scholarship, and mentoring opportunities. NYVGCC also puts on the annual New York Game Awards, hosted by Reggie Fils-Aimé, and releases their monthly podcast Playing With Purpose in collaboration with their interns.
