Ryan Burger, the publisher of Old School Gamer, comes from a background of publishing for the last 20+ years in the mobile disc jockey industry. A full-time teacher in Perry, Iowa, where he teaches computers, game programming, and more, he has always been a gamer, starting out with his Intellivision and then his Genesis, always getting the less popular systems because he liked the better, and now collects arcade machines and home consoles with an affinity to Atari. His other passion, retro computers, started out with the TI99/4a and moved into the Apple ][ arena.
